ABOUT NEIL
Neil has been counselling for the past 24 years. He is clinical member and supervisor for PACFA (Psychotherapists and Counselors Federation of Australia) and he is a clinical member and supervisor for the CCAA (Christian Counsellors Association of Australia). Neil holds the following professional qualifications, a Doctor of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy studies, a Master of Education (Adult) from the University of Technology, Sydney, a Master of Counseling and Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the Wesley Institute, a Bachelor of Counselling from the University of New England and a Diploma of Relationship Counselling from Callam training. Neil is also in regular monthly supervision as per PACFA requirements.
Neil is the past president of CCAANSW, he was for 11 years the associate dean of counselling at Morling College, he has worked for counselling agencies in domestic violence prevention and he is currently an occasional lecturer at Avondale college. He has maintained a private practice for the past 24 years which includes couple, family and individual counselling. He has been a clinical supervisor of other therapists for the past 17 years and a supervisor for pastoral work for the past 12 years.
